Hi I have a 65 silver streak that came with a two way unit.

it is a rhinecold alaska v63.

when lighting the gas it has a long aluminum tube that is perforated and when you light it the gas comes out the perforations until you let the red safety button out.

The instructions say to hold the button in for 30 seconds and release. 

is this normal operation?

I am having a hard time getting the electric side to cool so I tried the gas side.

This is our first attempt as using  the fridge, It was running on elec.when we bought it but after  5 hour ride home the elec . side is not cooling.
