I have been in the RV industry for 30 years and have never had a problem getting a cooling unit in under a week, as long a they send it to the right address. I have had them send a cooling unit to Canada instead of Cal. If the unit is to old they may not have it. I usually just sell them a new refer at that point. A cooling unit will make them work good again but the looks and smells of the old refer remain.
